Education Malaysia Jordan has been established in 1996. It is a division of Ministry of Education Malaysia that operates under the Embassy of Malaysia in The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Apart from Jordan, EM Jordan also handles students’ affairs in Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Syria. EM Jordan is responsible for ensuring the successful achievements of the Malaysia Education Development Plan (PPPM) and the National Higher Education Strategic Plan (NHESP) in order to transform Malaysian Higher Education by 2020.

Focus In

Jordan's educational role has become so effective as of what has been known about the high quality of its educational system. Thus, a Higher Education Accreditation Commission established to ensure the quality of universities output besides recognizing outside higher education institutions where it will be available for those who is willing to further their study abroad.

The following is the list of recognized Jordanian Universites by Malaysia Government :

Universities need to set some policies, regulations, and processes to assure and enhance the quality of their educational programmes. In order to do that, a fully integrated quality assurance system based on a set of university prescribed vision, mission, objectives, and principles for a quality assurance framework aimed at enhancing and assuring the quality of educational programmes.

The following is the list of recognized Malaysian Universites by Jordan Government :

This section presents data of Malaysian Students in Jordan in terms of students enrollment in Jordanian Universities, academic degrees and specialisations.

Academic Calendar sets by Ministry of Higher Education Jordan for all public universities to start their academic year toghether. By this step, MOHE Jordan allows many students to either change, apply or transfer from university to another easily as well as unifying the semester breaks.

Embassy of Malaysia in Amman and Education Malaysia Jordan sets official public holidays for the year 2014.

Total days of Public Holidays is 15 days, noting that if a public holiday falls on a normal weekend holiday, i.e Friday or Saturday, the public holiday will be observed on the following working day.

The official working days and hours for Embassy of Malaysia and Education Malaysia in Amman are Sunday - Thursday 8:00am - 3:00pm.

Students intending to attend a Jordanian university or gain certain professional licenses in Jordan can obtain a certificate of Tawjihi equivalency in lieu of taking the national Tawjihi examination. To obtain equivalency, Non-Jordanian certificates should be equivalent to the Jordan Secondary Education Certificate so that students can register at Jordanian university.

Malaysian Students intending to attend a Jordanian university must first register at Ministry of Education Malaysia and the application must come through MOHE Malaysia in order to apply to Jordanian Universities. Otherwise, EMJ will not responsible for or provide those who does'nt come through MOHE Malaysia.
